Welcome to the first of our monthly Comedy Lounge takeover events! On the third Wednesday of every month The Comedy Lounge will bring you a bill of some of the finest up-and-coming and established comedians currently working on the circuit.
Our first show brings you...
Mags McHugh – One of the brightest rising stars on the UK comedy circuit, Mags has appeared on BBC Radio Scotland's Breaking the News, earned a nomination for the Dutch Barn Spirit of Comedy Award, and is known for her fearless Irish storytelling, razor-sharp punchlines and infectious stage presence.
Hawa Kamara – A rapidly rising comedian and creator of the viral "Rich Uncle" character, Hawa has built a huge online following through her brilliantly relatable sketches and energetic live performances. She's quickly becoming one of the most exciting new voices on the UK comedy scene.
Junior Booker – A charismatic South London comedian who regularly performs at clubs including Top Secret Comedy Club, Backyard Comedy Club, Big Belly Comedy Club and Just the Tonic, and recently appeared as part of BBC Radio 1Xtra's Comedy Gala.
Beth Fox – A fast-rising comedian performing regularly on the London circuit, including Comedy Freaks London, where she's built a reputation for her energetic and relatable style.
Mia Minkova – Longlisted for the Funny Women Stage Awards 2023 and performer in the comedy short Car Boot (2024).
