Young Bands Night with Animal Nitrate, 6 Flix and Shotcollar

Following the success of our 'Women-Powered' night in August we have a Young Bands Night with three female led bands. All of these bands are brand new to the Sound Lounge and continue to showcase the wealth of live musical talent that South London is developing. Come and enjoy a night of rock, indie, britpop and soul.

Animal Nitrate are an indie rock band who all met through their college band sessions. Inspired by bands such as Suede, Pulp, Talking Heads, and The Strokes, they're currently working on original material to play alongside their favourite covers.

6 Flix are a RnB / Indie Rock cover band hailing from Surrey. Close friends Khelley (on guitar and vocals), Elodie (on keys), and Eden (on vocals) began the group for a college music performance qualification, bringing in guitarist Esme, and drummer Theo to complete the unit.

The band worked towards their qualification throughout their time at Godalming College, and by the time it was through spent more time chatting than rehearsing. And so it was that they stayed together after college, and are looking for one final perfomance together before universities scatter them across the country.

Shotcollar are an alt-rock band, combining strong vocals with grungy riffs.
